The International Pediatric Neuro-Oncology meeting/Florida Brain Tumor Summit will be held in Orlando March 16 - 18, 2017.  Please mark your calendars.  It begins with a reception on the evening of March 16, 2017, with scientific sessions to be held March 17-18, 2017 in Orlando, Florida.  Please let your colleagues know as well!

Speakers will provide the latest information about multiple immunotherapeutic strategies aimed at malignant brain tumors, immune gene therapy trials, genetically engineered poliovirus treatment, other oncolytic virus strategies, EBV-specific T cells and chimeric antigen receptor T cells, and updates on transplant strategies (to name a few topics).

Meeting Co-Directors have selected an outstanding group of international experts, including Stephen Gottschalk (Baylor – Antigen specific T cell therapy), Michael Platten (University of Heidelberg, Germany – Vaccines targeting IDH1 mutation in glioma), Jonathan Finlay (National Children’s Hospital – Transplant), Matthias Gromier (Duke – Genetically engineered poliovirus as an anti-cancer agent) and Duane Mitchell (University of Florida – Cellular immunotherapy for pediatric and adult brain cancer).

This is an unprecedented opportunity for brain cancer researchers and clinicians to meet the experts and discuss issues with them – all in our Florida back yard.

Please make plans to attend. Click here to view the brochure, which contains the agenda and registration information. We are also soliciting abstracts for poster sessions.  Please let me know if you have questions.
